A good friend's black Labrador, stares outside the window into the wintery rural landscape waiting for my friend to return. It looks cold and still outside and the last bit of sunlight at the end of the day is visible in the sky low in the horizon.
The work is acrylic on linen, 20 x 30 inches in size. The mood was of longing and love.
