Elizabeth Katz

Connecticut -based landscape artist , Elizabeth has been interested by the world of art since her high school days. Initially drawn to children’s illustration, she pursued her passion at the Massachusetts College of Art.

However, her artistic journey took a turn when she continued her education at Boston University, graduating with a degree in Art History.

This newfound knowledge led to Elizabeth starting an art and mural painting business.

Elizabeth’s passion extends beyond personal expression. She welcomes commissions in oil, acrylic and even murals allowing her to collaborate with clients and bring their artistic visions to life.

She currently has a studio at Metro Art Studios located in Bridgeport CT.

The act of creation is a constant challenge, a test of my artistic abilities.

I find myself endlessly drawn to the richness and vibrancy of oil paints, their smooth textures and ability to capture the essence of light.The act of creation is a constant challenge, a test of my artistic abilities.

My travels to Cape Cod serve as a wellspring of inspiration. The unique quality of light there, constantly shifting on the landscape, ignites my creative spark.

Ultimately, my paintings are an invitation to joy. I strive to capture the beauty of Cape Cod’s light and translate it into a visual experience that uplifts and brings a smile to the viewer’s face. Each brushstroke is an attempt to create a world of peace, happiness and visual delight.
